A group of our Pre-school children took a tram and bus all the way to Sale Moor to a store called Fantastic - No Plastic.

Did you know… each piece of plastic that has ever been produced can take between 450 - 1000 years to decompose? Fantastic - No Plastic is a zero waste store that offers a plastic-free alternative to over-packaged items often found in supermarkets.

The children learnt about the word sustainability and how they can play their part in looking after our planet but most importantly… we needed some flour for our playdough!! We got a glass jar, weighed it, printed the label, filled the jar with flour, weighed it again and took it to the till. Whilst at the shop, we got to explore all the other products that they sell too! 

What a wonderful experience for our children!
