In October 2023 we officially became a Curiosity Approach accredited setting. This has come as a result of 2 years of hard work, determination, commitment, passion and an incredibly clear vision; revisiting everything that we knew about the physical environment that we provide for our children and the impat that it has on their well-being, learning and development; continuously reflecting on, evaluating and measuring the impact of our curriculum, and never once doubting the power of this pedagogy and the enormousness of this transformation.

In July 2023 we achieved the Gold Level of the Trafford's Pathways to Talking Accreditation Programme. This award clearly showcases our ongoing commitment to strengthening our children's communication and language skills, focusing especially on those who have experienced difficulties in this area.

This is what the assessors have said about our setting:

  • 'The nursery has a calm, professional, friendly and very welcoming atmosphere; children are highly engaged in every room with quality teaching being understood and embedded into practice.'
  • 'A very positive experience where the children really are at the heart of the setting.'
  • 'The environment is outstanding with numerous visual supports used in every room.'

In March 2022 we successfully renewed our Healthy Setting Award. We have once again demonstrated our commitment to healthy lifestyles for the children in our care through submitting a detailed portfolie of evidence which not only showcased how we support their physical and emotional well-being, but also their oral health, mental health and nutritional needs.

In February 2021 we achieved an SEND Champions accreditation through the National Day Nurseries Association. As part of this accreditation, we carried out audits into our provision for children's individual needs which specifically focused on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), accessed further training and completed a case study as well as a reseach project evaluating and measuring the impact of the screening that we carry out on each child's communication and language skills.

What makes this accreditation truly special is that it recognises how committed we are to supporting children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities, and that we will continue going above and beyond to ensure that each child's needs are fully met and supported.
